Why Should I Join the Chamber?

The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life in the area. This is the most important part of being a Chamber Member.

As our chamber works to accomplish these goals, it wears many hats: economic development; tourist information center; business spokesperson; education provider; government relations specialist; and public relations guru. Simply stated, our Chamber is working together to make our community a better place for everyone to live and work.

The Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is a unique organization and has been a strong force in the Cambridge Area, Isanti County and throughout East Central Minnesota since 1940. It is a working partnership of businesses, professional people and individuals with a passion for continued economic growth, prosperity and vitality in the Cambridge area.

Membership numbers almost 300 and includes businesses and individuals from Cambridge, the surrounding area and greater East Central Minnesota. The Chamber is a volunteer organization supported by annual membership investments. Each year the Chamber develops a business plan based on its members needs, as identified through an annual membership survey.

In working with the Chamber, the people and businesses of the area have made Cambridge the regional hub and leading trade center of Isanti County. At the Chamber, we don't just talk about the future; we develop programs to shape it.
