The City of Cambridge has ample indoor as well as outdoor recreation areas,
including parks, softball/baseball complex, skateboard park, curling club,
outdoor hockey rink, tennis courts, and hiking/biking/x-country
skiing/snowmobile trails. Just five miles south in the City of Isanti an
indoor ice facility, soccer complex, BMX track, skateboard park,
softball/baseball fields, rodeo complex, bowling and parks are available.
Visitors and residents alike enjoy the numerous lakes and beaches that surround
the City of Cambridge and are scattered throughout Isanti County. The scenic
protected Rum River runs along the west side of Cambridge and provides for
canoeing, tubing and fishing.
Year-round activities are available locally, but if you seek the offerings of a
metropolitan city, those can be found just one hour away!
